Belgrade Community Library is proud to announce receipt of a grant to provide dementia education to the community. MTGEC, out of the University of Montana, has generously funded the library’s proposed project to host neurologists, healthcare experts, and hospice professionals on a panel to discuss dementia in its different forms, current research in the field, and living with dementia.

We hope to host this event in April, so keep an eye out for more information! Thank you, MTGEC, for this wonderful opportunity.

Thank you to Barnard Construction Company, Inc for the donation made in support of the Belgrade Library’s mission.

Kalah Kingsbury in front of a piece of her art

Kingsbury reception march 9
Kalah Kingsbury is an artist and a stay at home mom who resides in Belgrade, Montana. Kalah spent most of her childhood climbing trees in rural Fortine Montana and hiking with her mother in Glacier National Park. As she grew older, Kalah found herself captivated by the immense beauty of our state. It wasn’t until she took a watercolor class by Karen Leigh at the Flathead Valley Community College that she knew for sure that she wanted to be an Artist, and continued her education here in the Gallatin Valley at MSU where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Kalah now spends most of her days sharing the love of making art and instilling love and importance of nature and conservation with her three old.
