Join us for Belgrade Conversations: Libraries Transforming Communities

Belgrade Community Library has been selected as one of 200 libraries to participate in Libraries Transforming Communities: Focus on Small and Rural Libraries, an American Library Association (ALA) initiative that helps library workers better serve their small and rural communities.

This competitive award includes funding for focus group sessions that will help the library build community around Belgrade’s continued growth. The goal of the series of events is to build, encourage, and inspire community connections.

Belgrade Conversations will be hosted on Wednesdays through the month of June with a total of five events. Registration is required and there is a limit on the number of in-person participants that library can safely host to ensure social distancing is still possible. A meal will be provided for people who attend in-person. Once the in-person space is full that registration option will be removed from the form. Zoom Meetings will be used for people who are not able to attend in-person, either due to comfort related to COVID-19 or due to overage from the in-person capacity.

Check back regularly for more details and registration links as this site will be updated as presenters and logistics are confirmed.
