Kick off summer reading with the Belgrade Library on June 18!

Believe It or Not…It’s Science: 1:00 p.m.

Children in grades K-5 will start the summer reading program with an afternoon of incredible science.  Presented by entertainer Arch Ellwein, this family program will include hard-to-believe visual effects and an exciting introduction to Earth Science, electricity, and magnetism. Special props include a REAL tooth from a 70 million years old Spinosaurus and a REAL meteorite.

A Visit with Theodore Roosevelt: 6:00 p.m.

Travel back to 1911 and listen as one of America’s most famous presidents reminisces about his childhood, the West, the Spanish American War and other events that shaped his life. This riveting first person portrayal of the 26th President of the United States will be both fun and inspirational for history buffs of all ages. Free and open to the public.
